Lesson 1: Sequence

Students will learn about the Coral Reef Cleanup Playground in VEXcode VR. They will explore one of the first elements that makes up an algorithm: sequence. Then, they will apply that to collect as much trash in the Coral Reef Cleanup before the batteries of the robot run out.

Lesson 2: Iteration

Students will explore an additional element that makes up an algorithm: iteration. Then, they will apply their understanding of sequence and iteration to collect even more trash in the Coral Reef Cleanup.

Lesson 3: Selection

Students will explore the final element of an algorithm: selection. They will combine their understanding of sequence, iteration, and selection into an algorithm to collect as much trash in the Coral Reef Cleanup before the batteries of the robot run out.
