Pacing Guide
STEM Labs are designed to be educational experiences that are flexible and can be implemented in many different ways. Use the Pacing Guide to help make the xxx STEM Lab fit into your schedule. This STEM Lab can be adapted for a shorter implementation instead of the full xxx minutes included in the materials by considering the following:
- An option for xxx minutes is to have xxx ready before class and have your students complete the Play and Rethink sections. This option compromises some building experience to maximize the learning experience about xxx.
- You can reduce the time spent on the Seek, Play, or Rethink sections by not having the suggested discussions or exploration questions.

- Section - Identifies the section of the SPARK sequence.
- Pacing - Provides the approximate time duration of each section of the STEM Lab.
- Concepts - Lists the themes that surround the STEM Lab.
- Materials Needed - Lists the materials that are essential to completing the STEM lab.
- Resources - Provides the linked content and resources needed by the teacher to complete the lessons and activities.
