Learn

Before you can complete the Up and Over Challenge, you first need to learn about motor groups and how to configure them in VEXcode EXP, and how to choose a driver for your team with data-based decision-making.

Motor Groups

A motor group consists of two motors that function as if they are one device. A motor group can enable your robot to have more power, speed, or lifting ability.

Watch this video to learn about what a motor group is and why you should use one, the importance of motor spin direction, and configuring a motor group in VEXcode EXP.

Choosing a Driver

While everyone may want a chance to be the driver in a competition, it is important to choose a driver in a way that is supportive, respectful, and fair to everyone, while still giving you the best chance of winning.
