Practice

Now that you know about driver control programs, you will now practice all four driver controls by driving around IQ Cubes with your BaseBot. The animations below will show you how your robot should move to complete the Drive Around A Cube Practice Activity and the Figure Eight Challenge.

As you complete the Drive Around a Cube Practice Activity, document your findings in your engineering notebook. Think about which controller configuration you prefer and why as you record these findings.

In Compete (on the next page), you will drive your BaseBot in a figure eight around two IQ Cubes and the driver with the fastest time will win. Learn how to compete in the challenge, check your understanding, then practice for the challenge.
