- Eye Sensor
- A type of sensor that detects if there is an object present, the color of the object, and the brightness of the light.
- Hue Value
- A number in degrees between 0-359 that corresponds to a particular hue on the color wheel.
- Print Console
- An area of the VEXcode GO Monitor that can display messages, report sensor values, or present data from VEXcode GO projects.
- Monitor
- A window in VEXcode GO that allows the user to view real-time sensor values.
- Hypothesis
- An educated guess based on what someone already knows.
- Analyze
- To examine something in detail in order to understand it.

- Sets the light on the Eye Sensor to on or off
Encouraging Vocabulary Usage
The following are additional ways to facilitate vocabulary usage as students are engaged in the activities throughout this Unit.
Students should be encouraged to use the vocabulary terms:
- Throughout all of the activities
- As they are working in groups
- As they are reflecting
- As they are sharing their knowledge and experience
Tips for Encouraging Vocabulary Usage
Secret Word Mission: Give each student a secret vocabulary word, and they must try to use it in a sentence without being detected by other students.
Vocabulary Treasure Hunt: Place vocabulary words and definitions around the classroom, and have students go on a treasure hunt to match the words with their definitions.
Interactive Vocabulary Quizzes: Use digital tools to create interactive quizzes or games with the vocabulary words.
