Encouraging Vocabulary Usage

- As they are working in groups
- As they are reflecting
- As they are sharing their knowledge and experience
Tips for Encouraging Vocabulary Usage
- Create a brochure: Create a brochure for a vocabulary term. The brochure should include pictures, definition, an example of how you can use the vocab word.
- Vocab Map: Create a vocabulary map. Then, create a project to move your Code Base robot to the vocabulary word. Once the Code Base robot is on the vocabulary word see if you can explain the term to a friend.
- Vocab Photo Album: Draw pictures of the vocab word to include in the vocab photo album. Hand the vocab photo album to a friend and see if they can tell you the vocab word and the definition.
