Claw Arm Challenge
This is a challenge to see which V5 Clawbot can make it over the ramp and to the finish line first with their V5 Clawbot's arm extended out farther and farther each round.
Challenge rules:
- All V5 Clawbots will be controlled wirelessly and running the Drive program.
- All competing V5 Clawbots must transport a full 500 mL bottle from the starting line to the finishing line without allowing the bottle to touch the floor.
- Any V5 Clawbot that tips over loses the match.
- During the first round, all V5 Clawbots must have their claw arms down in the starting position.
- During the second round, all V5 Clawbots must have their claw arms raised at least 25.5cm above its starting position.
- During the third round, all V5 Clawbots must have their claw arms raised at least 38cm above its starting position.
- The same team member cannot control the V5 Clawbot for two rounds in a row. So at least two different teammates will need to participate across the three rounds of the challenge.
- The winning and losing teams of each round then race in the next round. The winner of the Round 3 race of the fastest V5 Clawbots wins the Claw Arm Challenge.
