  • Notice that the parts listed are not scaled 1:1. They are relatively scaled to one another.

  • Keep an eye out for the blue coloring on the ends of the screws as this indicates which screws are locking and non-locking. It also helps to differentiate between different lengths of screws.

  • Notice that the Smart Cable's length is printed at the base of each connector end.

Build the Clawbot

  • Organize students into groups of two or three to build the V5 Clawbot. The build takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

  • Allow enough time at the end of the class period for students to note where they left off in their engineering notebooks and clean up their area.
