Notice that the parts listed are not scaled 1:1. They are relatively scaled to one another.

Keep an eye out for the blue coloring on the ends of the screws as this indicates which screws are locking and non-locking. It also helps to differentiate between different lengths of screws.

Notice that the Smart Cable's length is printed at the base of each connector end.
Build the Speedbot

Teacher Tips

Organize students into groups of two or three to construct the Speedbot. The build will take students approximately two hours to complete.

Allow students enough time at the end of the class period to note their progress in their engineering notebooks and clean up their area.
