Create an algorithm to use [Drive for] and [Turn to heading] blocks, the Arm Motor, the Intake Motor, and the Bumper Switch Sensor to drive the Hero Bot to remove the Dispensers, intake, and launch the Discs to score as many points as possible in one minute!

  • Select the VIQC Virtual Skills Playground.
  • Select a Starting Position and create a coordinate system on the VIQC Virtual Skills Field to navigate the robot to specific positions.
  • Select the Dispensers. Code the Hero Bot to drive to and remove the Discs from the selected Dispensers as fast as possible!
  • Code the Hero Bot to drive to, intake, and launch the Discs into the 4-Point Goal Zone. Launch as many Discs as possible.

Helpful Hints

  • The time is limited! Focus on the tasks with higher scoring efficiency first.
  • Design an efficient path to minimize the traveling distance and turns for the Hero Bot while executing the tasks.
  • Consider obstacles on the field, including the Dispensers and potential Discs, when planning a path for the robot or planning a trajectory for the Discs.
