Practice
In the Learn section, you learned about different sensors that you can add to Striker, and how they could be used in a project on the Over Under Field.
In this activity, you will be practicing using these sensors for yourself as you prepare to compete in a Robot Skills Challenge.
This video explains how to test the example projects provided for each sensor on Striker, so you can begin to develop a strategy for scoring as many points as possible in a Robot Skills Challenge.
Download the example project for each sensor (available in Blocks, Python, or C++) so that you can test them with Striker.
- Inertial Sensor Example - Blocks, Python, C++
- Rotation Sensor Example - Blocks, Python, C++
- Optical Sensor Example - Blocks, Python, C++
- GPS Sensor Example - Blocks, Python, C++
Don't forget to document what you learn during Practice in your engineering notebook! If you have questions about what to add to your notebook, ask your Coach or Teacher.
